Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Fharquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother as was Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was a student for three year at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s was accepted. She was able to survive on her student stipend and work part-time jobs. Lennox felt that her skills weren't as good as those of those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she began thinking about other options she could pursue. Lennox began her career in the year 1976, in the group called Dragons Playground. The band did not appear on the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. Between 1977 and 1980, she was vocalist for The Tourists. A British pop group. In this band, she met Dave Stewart and together they created The duo Eurythmics. Lennox collaborated on her solo first album Diva. It was released in 1993. The album received a lot of praise both from critics and the public. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album debuted in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox has chosen her favorite blues, soul and jazz tracks. Lepidoptera was recorded by Lennox on May 19, 2019. The album is comprising four tracks that were that were improvised. The E.P. The singer-songwriter released her debut solo album in conjunction with her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is a Scottish philanthropist political activist and musician and singer. After a brief successes as a part of the group known as The Tourists in the late 1970s, she and her fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to be recognized as the duo known as Eurythmics in the 1980s. Lennox's 1992 debut album Diva was a huge success, featuring a variety of songs, including Why the World is Broken Glass. Medusa the album she released in 1995 has cover versions of songs like No MoreI I Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. Six solo studio albums, plus one compilation album the result of her efforts. |
