Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Fharquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother as was Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was a student for three year at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s was accepted. She was able to survive on her student stipend and work part-time jobs. Lennox felt that her skills weren't as good as those of those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she began thinking about other options she could pursue. After a brief successes as a part of the group known as The Tourists in the late 1970s, she and her fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to be recognized as the duo known as Eurythmics in the 1980s.
